spent the summer, began the 2010-2011 academic year and once fitted with librarians and teachers responsible refurbished libraries in the Network of School Libraries Madrid start out with renewed vigor. We are now 85 libraries, 5 more than the previous year (CEIPs Alfonso X El Sabio, Navas de Tolosa and Palacio Valdés and IES Numancia and San Cristobal de los Angeles), 85 librarians, 11 coordinators and 85 teachers responsible for school library working together in the same direction, to promote a project that promotes and encourages active school library with resources available for all in the service of teaching and learning and development of basic skills related to information processing, reading and independent learning.
The opening ceremony was held on November 2, in the auditorium of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, and he had an opportunity to look and listen to everyone, to think together about our role in libraries and their role in the context of the educational activity.
