Our friend Begoña, CEIP Ramón y Cajal, sends us this fun activity that has been done with students at his school. The objective of this activity is that children know that books do not eat, but eat.
Students are greeted at the library with tablecloths, napkins, plates, cutlery, pens, vases, fountains, trays and an apron and chef hat.
Children should be seated at tables equipped with dishes, glasses, cutlery and menu card.
1 Students may choose a starter, main course and dessert menu presented.
2 The waiters (librarian and teacher) I will take note of what they want. 3 Iran
bringing the requested books each table on a tray.
4 It will be time to taste them and share with the rest of the diners. 5 For dessert
are special books, large, sweet ...
6 At the time of completion of the activity, pass the bill, in which students have to submit your credit card (card loan) to be the library books they want.
